Went to my interview at DOC. Sounds like a pretty cool job if I can get it. A few places have let me know that they won't be hiring me, but other than that no other leads at this time. New listings come out on Sunday though...
I'm taping the new version of Salem's Lot. i was just going to wait for the DVD but it's just so good, i'll probably want to watch it before then. The other version is one of my faves, but was really in need of an updating. This version has better performances (except that Sutherland does not come close to the majesty of James Mason) and some damn scary scenes. And of course, the vampires are more zombie like than most. in fact, by the end, some are milling around town just like zombies. It's freakin awesome!!!
There's a gnome in front of our door. Everytime I see him I think of that damn song from the gnome scene in 5th Contingency, so I hope Ryan moves him soon.
I don't have enough stuff for tonights waffle bar. We only have like, 3 paper plates left, which means I'm going to probably end up doing scads of extra dishes. I've been sort of grumpy, since H usually helps with the dishes and has not been at all lately. But H did manage to spend 3 hours and $30 on Dan's birthday gift, which is more than i could afford to spend, so that is cool. I won't say what it is because Dan will surely read this before the party.

But next time, please make your comment on topic by posting your thoughs about waffles. I find that pretty much everyone likes to discuss waffles.
