Dammit!
I came in to work tonight, all sober and everything only to find that all the Hary Potter stuff has been taken off the walls. It seems that due to crazy high monies wanted by Warner Bros, we are NOT getting PoA after all. Fie! Drag. That's just terrible news.
Now I not only have to wait for the movie to open...which means seeing it the next week or so; but I have to PAY to see it, like some kinda scrub. It also means I'll have to use the cash I have set aside to buy season 2 of Dead Zone to see Harry Potter.
As if that's not annoying enough, I was hoping to grille up some dogs and make some baked beans and pasta salad for a fun memorial day BBQ thing. No dice. Even though they told me they wouldn't need me, it seems that I have to work. And not just a simple box office shift...oh no, an on my feet, cleaning up after jerk-asses, tearing ticket kind of shift. I'll also be doing curtain talks, as if we're going to get crowds on that day or something.
When I thought I could stand not one more irritation, I learn that Aloha Grille has already cleared out to move to thier new digs. No more panko chicken for Wednes...
