Once again, There's a Porkypine in my Fwoat!
I am feeling sick today. Congested, runny nose, sore throat...the whole deal. A few well places drugs are helping a bit, but since I can't really take anything but Nasonex and cough drops, I'm left slightly wanting.
Watched Batman Forever on cable last night. That is the Val Kilmer one which introduces Robin. It did not suck quite as badly as i remembered, but TwoFace was horribly directed and portrayed. Even Jim Carrey was off his game. It is the next edition of the franshise, however, that is simply unwatchable. Frown.
Tonight I'm staying home to rest, doing laundry, and cooking linguini and clams for Ryan and myself. We also invited that other guy Ryan likes, but he never comes over so who knows...I might not have to dress nice for this dinner after all.
Last night I tried to find a measuring spoon so H could take some cough medicine. Turns out, I don'thave any measuring spoons anywhere in the place. I guess I didn't really notice how little I use them, that i didn't notice that there are none around. So I've been estimating teaspoons and tablespoons of things for months without incident. I suppose that's a testament to my cooking skills, or my incredible luck.
