Robot Vacuum Cleaner
My sleep schedule has been so crazy lately. But then so has my diet, my cycle and my mood, so who the hell knows.
I saw a commercial on TV last night for a robot vacuum cleaner. It zooms around sucking up dirt all by itself. I'm all for technology and all, but I declare shenanigans! Everybody get a broom.
First of all, it's like 8 inches tall, so I don't see how it could possibly suck as well as a regular vacuum. But assuming you don't need it to suck that well, i still dont' see how it could sytematically clean every inch of your carpet, and know what needs cleaning and what doesn't.
Although, if I could afford one of those self cleaning catboxes, I would surely get one.
I'd be less likely to trip over it in the middle of the night.
Watched the special ed of Carrie this morning. Piper Laurie looks incredibly like my mom (except mater is brunette and has about 100 pounds on piper) so that movie is especially terrifying to me. The bonus features were a big sack of crap. People talking about Carrie the musical without any of the offending footage?!? I was all set to stare into scenes of Carrie the musical like some kind of gay car wreck, and thier werent' any.
Foiled by DVD yet again!
Later on, I will be watching the remake of TCM.
Also, filed my state taxes today. Fellow Michiganders, did state taxes seem impossibly difficult compared to previous years? i couldn't find an EZ form to save my life...what's up with that? I'm pretty sure i did it wrong, because it says I owe $3, but I dont' give a crap. I just want to be finished with it.
Plus my Gods! 37 cents for one fucking stamp?!?
