Are they made from real Girl Scouts?
Yikes! I am so intensely tired that I could fall asleep right here at my desk. Although had they not played Addams Family followed by Addams Family Values on cable last night, I might have been able to get to bed at a reasonable hour. But no...I had to stay up until 5 in the freakin' am even though I had to be back to work by noon today. And I was on-time even.
Of course the mall is closed so I'm trapped hear until 6pm with nowhere to get lunch. I hope Jimmy Johns is delivering because I could do with a gourmet sandwich.
I did get my good day yesterday. So that was cool. And I had a few people over last night, now that K, S, and N are back in town. It was pretty fun, but several people didn't show after they said they were coming. So that was a bit of a frown.
Speaking of frowns, sucks to hear about Nick and Mary Yankovic. I remember seeing them in a HBO documentary about Weird AL when I was still a punky kid. Apparently Al's mom used to watch him in gym class from home since they lived near the school...you know, to make sure the other kids weren't playing too rough with him. They also showed Burgeropolis, which is the diner style city he designed in college when he was still an archetecture student. Anyway, it sucks when someone loves thier folks and loses them...and carbon monixide poison is certainly preventable. So that is all very sad.
I'm so tired and hungry and menstrual. Still!
And I'm craving red meat like I got freakin' Rosemary's Baby kicking around inside me--which I don't!
Alright, so work, then home for lunch, nap, Sopranos, pot, more sleep.
And THAT my friends, is a full day.
