Channel Madnesssss

What the hell is The Godfather doing on VH1? (and please don't bother telling me how good it is. I already know, I'm just saying that VH1 is not the place for it)

You know what would be cool, is if included in your regular cable channels, you got one channel that played only music videos--all the time! Maybe you could throw in some sensless VJ prattle (heh heh--Vee jay!!??) and some music news.

That would be soooo sweet...

@-@ I was wondering the same thing. I guess they had a blank three or four hours to fill on their schedule, and people were getting tired of more 'Behind the Music' marathons.

Those are FLARES Thorn, not bell-bottoms. And don't pull the "a rose by any other name . . ." crap -- in fashion, the name is all that matters.

[abrupt realization -- monkey's entire get-up for the day was purchased at Goodwill. The shirt tag says Ralph Lauren though, if that salvages my fahionability in any way]

I was looking at VH1 with the sound turned down the other day at the gym and I thought, "This looks like 'The Godfather', but it can't be, cuz this is VH1." Ohhhh, how terribly wrong I was. I wonder what kind of stupid rationalization VH1 had for airing that movie. I betcha it's something stupid like "We polled a bunch of rock stars, and this was their favorite movie of all time."

Which reminds me-- you notice how *TV* Guide likes to put *movie* stars on their covers nowadays? Last I heard, "Attack of the Clones" isn't gonna be on TV anytime soon, but that sure doesn't keep them from printing five gazillion separate "collector's covers" for it, each one for a different cast member. Sheesh......
