wednes | Dreaded Dread of Dreadfulness...

It is rare that I dread going to work. My desk is comfy, my Boss is Hot Hot, my job is relatively easy, though annoying at times simply because the public is at large. But I have to tell you that this is the third (3rd) week in a orw that out newpaper listings have differed dramatically from what we are playing. People are getting pissed at us, and rightly so. And there is very little that we can do about it.

Two weeks ago, we were supposed to get Butterfly Effect. We didn't, but the papers listed us as having it. So lots of people came in and yelled at us for not having it. Then last week, it was listed again, plus it was not listed that we had Monster, so it did very poorly numbers wise. This week, we were supposed to get Dreamers, which is the new Michael Pitt film. Not only are we nto getting it, but the papers say we are. And tonight when i went in to work, i had to deal with crowds for 2 cancelled films (advirtised as last chance veiwings) and a special screener with the wrong time printed on the invitation.

I tell you, I want to rip my fucking hair out.
And when I want to go complain to HHB, he looks so utterly forlorn that I can't even mention my petty problems to him. Luckily, there are many more co-workers I can complain to.
