Sunday SUNday SUNDAY!!!

I was supposed to get up and go see [livejournal.com profile] absinthofheart with [livejournal.com profile] pak_man78 today. But unfortunately, I flaked and didn't get out of bed until almost time for Simposns. Well, I was up briefly in the afternoon to trade gifts with H. Anyway, please pardon my flakery.

H liked his envelope full of funny love coupons. Yay! he got me a DVD of Argento's Phanton of the opera, the Widescreen directors cut, which is the unrated version. It is my first Italian Horror DVD. So Yay again.

New Simpsons was funny, but my local afiliate did not air the beginning, which left my tape without a couch gag. That is no freaking fair.

Tomorrow I'm going out with H to do romantic stuff. I'm also thinking about getting my hair cut next payday, something shorter, and fluffy. I'll have to ask my stylist...I have a stylist. Hilarious. I also want to see monster again. And i have to watch the Bava DVD I borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] psychswitch. Hopefully my scale will arrive this week, and I can see how my diet is going. That should brighten my mood...

The couch gag was a decent one too. Some guy watered a box in their living room and they sprouted up from it like plants.

You scared me today. I was freaked because no one could get a hold of you. I am a worrier. Don't make me worry, please. I did miss the first 15 min of Simpsons, so next time we see you, we should watch it. Okay? By the way, I was gonna get you a V-Day gift, but when we didn't hear from you, I forgot about it. Sorry.

When you say "New Simpsons", is there something you know that I don't? Because it felt like a different show. A good show, but not the Simpsons I know and love.

The show has been changing since it's incpetion certainly. I think we're noticing it now more because we're so much older and wiser than we were in '89.

Also, I think adding Dana Gould as co-executive producer is a fine idea. he is a very funny (and sexy) man!
