Meat Wad make da money, see

As it is Sunday, i have slept for most of the day. Got up and ordered chinese food and watched TV.

Taped Simpsons and also that metrosexual ep of South Park which I found pretty funny. I've decided that when in doubt, Trey and Matt simply turn the end of the ep into Sci-fi.

Turns out, one of the local chinese delivery palces will bring you steamed chicken and veg with no oil brown sauce for a pretty good price. Not as tasty as fried rice mind you, but still pretty good. Avoid the steamed veggie dumplings though, it seems to be the chinese delivery equivalanet of a rice cake with carrots on top.

H has also been sleeping, except for whatever errands he ran this morning. i haven't talked to him all day, so i have no clue what he's up to.

Grocery shopping tomorrrow, to fill the house with proper food. Think I may go to the movies as well. H still wants to see Peter Pan, so we may do that. I'd kinda like to see Big Fish again, so maybe H will be down with that.

If you are talking about San Fu(Chinese Place), I'm right there with you. I used to get that alot, actually, I got the steamed chicken and broccoli with no-oil brown sauce, but there were other veggies in there too. I haven't had it recently, but now I want some.

I think I know the chinese place you're talking about. All I know is that Deb and I ordered some food from somewhere that was just as you described and it was very yummy. They delivered it to the theater too. K and I also had chinese food for dinner this evening...we're going to finish the rest of it tomorrow. We had chicken with brocolli and sweet and sour chicken...mmm!

chinese food rules!

And as i just mentioned to metta, i am speaking of San Fu, which appears to be a bit of a local fave.

Oh my GOD Big Fish rocked my ass off.

That's cool. I lot of people are having that reaction. I'm surprised H doesn't want to see it, because it is everything a movie should be:

romatic
exciting
touching
funny

It's a visual feast with great characters and excellent editing. I think its the favorite to win the best pic golden Globe.

ooh...I still have to see that metrosexual episode of South Park...that one's gotta be funny...it's been a long time since I've seen that show, and even longer since I've seen the movie (only the once in the theater--1999)...

I concure. Not Burton's best movie per se in my opinion, but his most widely accessible and appealing, and one of his top 3 for sure. As i would put it:
Ed Wood
Edward Scissorhands
Big Fish

His best movies, the main character's name is always Ed/Edward.

or Pee Wee.

You are right. Everyone else, wrong.

see, even if everyone hated it, I would still love it. That movie brought me to tears, which no movie has done since Hocus Pocus (don't ask)
