Monday Bloody Monday
I'm at work on a Monday, which is not very fun for me. I had to wake up--in the morning no less. Bathe, dress, brush my teeth and leave my apartment and it wasn't even noon. That's just not right.
And I realized upon geting to work that I actually had a 2pm doc appointment today. I was going to tell them I quit taking my meds, but I guess they'll figure it out when I stop coming. And my other doc is supposed to call in a med refill for me, but wanted me to come in for a checkup which I did not do. I was suppsoed to have a bunch of tests done months ago, but had no insurance...hopefully this will go my way.
Anywhoo, there will be very little rest for me this week, I wish I was not so busy. Yet, its a fun, social kind of busy. Tonight we are getting together in honor of Emily, former Madstoner extraordinaire. Tuesday I'll be grocery shopping, and starting the food for the party. Weds I have to work till 6pm, followed by the party. Plus my old boyfriend from college (Schmave) will be visiting, which will SERiously cut into my getting high and watching TV/internet time. Fie!
Man, I saw HHB last night. He was here looking all scruffy and unshaved and well, HOT. But I guess he was here at the theatre until 4 in the morning. Poor guy.
Oh, and solemn good wishes for Madstoner Matt A. May he fare well and return to us safely, because he is cool.

How long has it been since you went off your meds now? Which ones were you on? How do you feel? You should go and get those tests done.
I've been on like a million of them. I was on them from age 16 to 26. I've been getting really depressed this past week but I think that's because of my parents.
Being off drugs is scary but I think somehow we can hack it. Don't you?

I enjoy being off the meds very much, I was taking Lexapro, which is another experimental one. I don't really appreciate being a guinea pig for a doc. Let them figure out what the drugs do *before* they give them to me...
