The mall is not so crazy busy as I would think, this being a Saturday in December and all. Bunches of old men are flirting with me today. I guess the rose scented parfume as not as good an idea as I thought it was this morning. I did an enormous mailer for Sherri this morning, and when I finished it I found that she had me make over 100 extra stuffed envelopes for no apparent reason, because they have no address labels. Frown!

Tonight is the gathering from Dan Martin. That should prove to be glorious fun, since it is also the night that I hook up with The Falcon. And My Crush will be at the party. He's pretty crazy...I love that about men...when they're crazy.

Hey, do you ever meet people and think they are totally standoffish jerk-asses? I did, and it turned out that the person was just shy. Isn't that odd? Like if I know someone cool and they have bad luck with women, it isn't just because their taste runs toward the Brittany Spears with a brain look (if, in fact, that is a look). It could simply be that they are too shy to "talk to chicks". I guess I don't get that really, because I so seldom get nervous to talk to people. Although, people do intimidate me into silence with thier coolness. Like if someone is cool, I assume they must be cooler than me; then I am less likely to talk to them. One time, someone thought I was giving them a dirty look when actually, I was too terrified to speak. So that's just interesting to me.

What else is interesting is my cats. If I'm sleeping in the bedroom, they will pound on the door and meow loudly and just genrally create a ruckus until I let them in. Then, Pentelope walks around the room, tries to get petted, then leaves once she sees that I'm asleep. Clarence, OTOH, just wants to sleep on my pillow. It's very cute. When she was a tiny kitten, she'd attack my head while I slept to secure her spot on my pillow. She just seems to want to be the alpha cat...which as you well know at my house...it ME!
