Saturn's Day...a day for working and partying
Terror struck my heart as I reached into the cupboard for some yellow cake mix to make the cake for Metta's party. I was horrified to learn that I had no cake mix. I think to myself "Gee, you're a pretty good cook. Do you really need cake MIX to make a damn cake. of course not". But upon learning that I had less than one cup of flour in the whole apartment, I decided that Meijer would have to make the cake for me. And danged if it aint super super malty...I mean Chocolatey (nice work, Martin). Plus I got Metta an awesome gift which I may get one for myself as well...its that cool. But I couldn't afford it today.
I also bought some bubbles at the toy store which you can eat. That sounded hilarious and silly to me, so I got two flavors instead of silly string. On TV I learned that silly string is flammable. No wait, I learned that by reading the package.
A whole bunch of Lutheran Church goers came to see Luther this afternoon. They were really nice; so imagine my embarassment when the wrong movie played and they were treated tot he opening murder scene from Runaway Jury. I won't mention any names, but a certain long haired po-thead seems to be responsible. Anyway, I wanted to talk to the pastor after the film, to see what he thought about the films accuracy; but he was outta here really quickly after the end of the film.
Seems like when I'm resting at home, people bang my door down trying to tell me about thier religion. When I want to talk God with a pastor, he's like nowhere.
Honestly though, I am inspired to read more about Martin Luther, and read his writings as well. I just am not sure where to start, and know almost no Christians anymore...
