You Want Matrix Spoilers? I Got 'em!!!

But first, a bit about little ol' me:

Remember: The top score on the list below represents the faith that
Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely
matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your
views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.

Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in the order of how much
they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith
appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.

How did the Belief-O-Matic do? Discuss your results on our message

Went up to work to see Matrix Revolutions with H. thought the last one was pretty exciting, wondered how they thought they were going to outdo it. Anyway, here's what I think:

I have to say, I was pretty bored for the first hour or so. Not much new information, not much cool fighting, although I must admit the FX were great. They should be, for as much as these movies cost. Lots more insipid dialogue between Neo and "Trin" which IMHO slows down the story.
Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the genre, but when I do take the time to see an action film, I want bad-ass fights and explosions and all kind of eye candy. And there was some of that, surely. I also want to care about the characters in some fashion. That was missing from this film in a big way.
As one might expect, Hugo Weaving does not disappoint...any of him. He is menacing and creepy and smug and wonderful. He puts up the good fight, and in fact, beats Neo's ass and assimilates him. Agent Smith shows more emotion in this film than any other in the series, and he assimilated some people I liked. But man, that fight scene was out of this freakin' world!!! It was worth seeing the movie just for that!
Surprisngly, I did not really care that Trinity was dead. And having Neo's eyes covered up and horribly burnt during that scene compromised it's emotional impact... ...so if you don't mind that sort of thing, by all means, go see this film.

It's playing at Madstone on two screens, in the biggest theatres, with killer sound. Students only $6 with student OD (whoops, that was ID--hahahahaha) and tickets are still availible for opening night.
