Sun spots are a very important part of solar activity, without them the sun would become unstable. My cell phones have worked fine for the past couple of days. It's more likely a network problem.

Well, At&T is saying its the sunspots. Although it doesn't make sense tht something as alrge as the sun would only affect one company's phones.

But then, I'm not a scientist...

It all depends on which satellite any giving company is using. The satellite that is lined up with the sun is the one that's having trouble. It is the same one the syndicated Delilah show is on, I think. The early parts of Delilah have been having drops.
Also, if the shit is happening at night, then they are lying. It should only be about four minues each day for about a week.

My phone hasn't worked properly in a full week.

Sunspots cause solar flares, solar flares play havoc with satellites.

I normally can talk for hours with my friend in Vancouver, today, it kept disconnecting us after 20 minutes or less.
