Work, Rain, Plans:

I tried to come to work in time to work the 3 o'clock movie set, but since it took 45 freakin minutes to get a cab, I didn't make it. Why didn't I just walk, you ask? Well, its raining, and Wednes don't play that.

Hopefully, there will be no rain for my gala event tomorrow. The menu is all planned provided Meijers has restocked its shelves since yesterday...I hear its getting tough to find hot dogs or something. I need to buy some freezer items tonight, so they better have them, or I'll have to shake my fist angrily at them!

Everytime I try to clean up my area of the living room, someone parks a fucking bicyle in my way. "Clean up the living room Wednes...we're having a party Wednes..." And then they park a bunch of stupid bikes in front of both my altar and my video racks. Not to mention, I was promised shelves that were never put up, depsite the fact that we HAVE everything we NEED. So when my new place looks like a freakin mess, and I STILL don't have an altar after 3 long weeks, you can know in your heart that its not all my fault!

That said, I have lots to do so I shall close.
See you kids tomorrow!

Why the hell are bikes in the living room?!! This isn't a college anymore!

Exact-amundo!

Well one is Janine's bike, and if it's important to her to keep it safe, then I respect that, I know she's spent a lot on it, and doesn't want to leave it in the rain if she doesn't have to. Plus, she bought it so I could send her on errands while we were shooting today (our original location was 1mile from any power source, or civilization), so that was my fault. We'll lock it up outside this evening. All that being said, the bikes move really easily, that new wheel thingy is a great invention.

The shelves, you said, "you want to help me hang them up later?" and I said, "Of course, I'll help." Then you never mentioned it again. Sorry about that. Maybe we can get that done tonight.

Actually, this apartment has never been a college. Apart fome that, college kids usually leave their crappy bikes outside. People who ride seriously, and have spent a great deal of money on said bikes, park them where the weather or theives won't harm them.

Besides, they're not like in the middle of the room, they're in the back corner, not really taking up any space, except where Wednes wanted to be.

So...can I assume then that I won't be able to complain in my LJ without you assuming everything is about you and then getting in my face about it?

I sure hope not, because I derrive a lot of enjoyment from venting about shit that's bugging me in my LJ.

H's bike, as you well know, has been blocking my stuff for weeks. I expalined to him that there is a large sidewalk and other area in front where he can park his bike, but since he never bought a chain or lock, it has to stay in my sacred space.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2003-08-16 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Right, the nerve of me trying to have sacred space in my own home without a bike getting in the way.

I'm a terribly selfish woman.

I was NOT getting in your face about it. I was trying to apologize for J9's bike being there, and I was tryint to accept some responsibility for the shelves not being up.

relax guy.

[identity profile] uterdic.livejournal.com 2003-08-16 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I never said you were being selfish. I was trying to tell Marie why people keep bikes in their homes rather than out in the open.

Now, I totally understand the holiness of ones altar, I will treat it with the upmost respect, and I also have a great respect for how you care for it. BUT there's a whole lot of stuff back there near it, and it's not just the bike. Which is why I was being sorry for the adding Janine's bike to the pile.

Finally, J9 and I are happy to put up the shelves right now, I just text messaged you on it. Where do you want them ? I know one is to go in the study, but where would you like the other one? I won't do anything regarding those before I talk to you just in case I am incorrect in where we decided to put them.

Oh, I was pretty sure I felt you up in my grille.

Guess not though...

Meh, I just need to get the rest of that crap put away and set the altar up before people start arriving.

I said 2pm but I think only Dana is planning on coming by that early.

Up in my grille?
