Clarence

She came out of the cage all stumbly and sick acting. I'm not sure why they would let her leave while she is obviously still drugged. It is awful to see her like that. Both cats are now hiding, presumably sleeping. I'll be glad when this is all over with.

If she can walk she's doing quite good already. Just make sure she keeps warm and don't let her eat before she's fully awake and everything should be fine. And of course licking the wound or jumping is not encouraged. Heh.

awwwwww, cats get so traumatized at the vet, last time my cat , cucha, got her tail shaved cause she had a big cut on it, she was freaked for the rest of the day but she got over it and she had a slick tail do for weeks, it rocked!

Relax guy

She's fine, I'm sure. I've been involved with that process several dozen times, and it's never fun. Well, it is kind of funny to watch, yes even when it's your own pet.

They let them go because they're groggy, not passed out. In many ways, it's better for them to get the love and attention from the family rather than be in a cold cage while they wake up. That way it's a familiar setting rather than waking up sore confused and in a totally different place than they're used to. This way she'll just be sore.

Same thing happened last time I took my cat to the vet...His sister cut his leg up and the vet game him a shot and stitched it up...He came home and it was almost like he was drunk...He ended up falling asleep in his food dish...Sad and funny at the same time.

Thanks. I think for now she is just sleeping it off.

Yeah, she seems much better now. Once she sleeps for a day or so, she'll be fine I'm sure.

Clarence will feel better, probably by the time i come to pick you and Pentelope up. Heck maybe after Pentelope's surgery I'll actually be able to see what she looks like when she's laying still. She's a fast one. I love your kitties...they're so damn cute. Look like my Bat-Cat.

Even in her drugged state, she'd probably rather be in familiar surroundings anyway then at the hospital with all those smells and other scared animals.

I thought you weren't supposed to be online except for research.

Thanks, I'm working on a cool collection. If you like, you can use it. I'm not possessive. (grin)
