An Ode to Ned II

Everytime I buy a mid-sized snail for my tank, to live with my Fire Belly Frogs, it dies.

My first snail got huge and is doing great, all the other ones die.

Dammit!

I had a hermit crab that kept dying on me. Well, several hermit crabs really. I put several "new" shells in there for them but they never made it to the shell and died naked. It was traumatic. I also had a hampster once, he thought he was an accrobat and he hung by one leg from the top of his cage. One day, he got stuck. Apparently, no one was home to help him b/c he chewed his own foot off. Then, he eacaped and fell down the heater. The house smelled like roasted hampster. Other than that, I don't have any sad pet stories. That's a good thing though.
