I'm sorry the mall is closed...

Actually, I'm not sorry at all...it's quite nice and peaceful.

I'm reading that book White Oleander, and laughing at all the people who walk all the way down to the fence before realizing that the mall is closed. As if the utter absence of cars in the parking lot (except 10 or so cars by our theatre) wouldn't tip them off. I agree, its dumb for the mall to be closed on a purely religious holiday, but I didn't do it. I'd certainly prefer to have some stores open, if only so I could get ice cream.

(At least no one will come stumbling out of the bar to harass me like last night.)

I think I'm going to finally get a cell phone. So that will save me 50 cents each time I have to call a cab from the grocery store or mainstream movie theatre. I'm getting a free phone from [livejournal.com profile] psychswitch, so I may as well get a plan. Anyone out there use Sprint?

This week, I will finally see The Pianist, and also City of God. You know, I kept waiting for people to make a bunch of "Pianist" jokes...how long is the pianist, did you enjoy the pianist...etc.
But they just never happened.

Oooh, the sun is coming out!
And its 4/20! heh heh heh!

Heeeyy, I just wanted to clear something up. I don't like to post this kind of thing on my own journal for the public to see ... but, I was high as a kite when I saw Ho1KC. =) Honestly, I went in with no expectations, but with the hopes that I would be someone on the "loved it" side of the argument. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be.

Yeah, I can only say stuff like, "it was okay" or "there's some cool stuff in it".

I really wanted to love it, too!

Oh, and: STONER!!!!
